Vinyl Records

I realize it is a bit trendy, but I have really gotten back into vinyl. There is a certain warmth that comes through on good vinyl that you cannot get with digital, in my humble opinion, of course.
A few weeks back I picked up Zep's Physical Graffiti on vinyl. Wow. That record just blows me away. And I recently had a few amazon.com bucks to blow and ordered Wilco's Summerteeth on 180g. What a sonic revelation! The new vinyl on that 180g stuff sounds amazing. Another great thing about new music on vinyl is that the usually give you a CD (or download coupon), so it is the best of both worlds.
Also, vinyl is great because of all the accoutrement: the sleeve, gatefold artwork, cover art, etc. It makes music more real, in a way, to be able to involve your sense of touch, feel and sight: a more complete experience.

Vinyl is cool again - and with around 3000 45's - no they don't market these any more - and around 250 albums of old school pop - nothing beats it - particularly when it comes to original album art as well - very collectable these days.
