Musical Thanksgiving

It is Thanksgiving. An important time to reflect and give thanks. I thougt that I would share a few musical related things for which I am thankful.
1. The beautiful descending bass line and heartbreaking lyrics of Bob Dylan's "Simple Twist of Fate"
2. The minimalist, sloppy, heartfelt and exhilirating solo outro of Wilco's "At Least That's What You Said".
3. The pain and frustration that permeates John Lennon's "I'm So Tired".
4. Sam Beam's beautiful acoustic cover of "Love Vigilantes" (the final verse still chokes me up).
5. The Martin Guitar Company.
6. The sweet chord progression and melancholy lyrics of the Avett Brother's "If Its the Beaches".
7. Banjos.
8. Websites like owl and bear and aquarium drunkard for helping promote good music.
9. Sirius / XM U (thanks Josiah).
10. iPods (yes, the are a bit cliche, but I can carry my entire music collection anywhere!).
11. Pandora internet radio.
12. Ryan Adams unreleased material.
13. Gillian Welch's perfect song "Annabelle".
