Musical Blasphemy
August 14th 2009 03:43
... that I (more or less) believe:
1. Joe Jackson's "Breaking Us in Two" is the best song of the 1980s
2. Paul McCartnery never wrote a good song after the Beatles broke up (Jenny Wren is close).
3.Les Paul is (was RIP) the most important music figure of the 20th century
4. Fionna Apple is the most under-rated female artist of her generation.
5. AC/DC sucks (not going to post link ... too painful)
6. Terrestial radio sucks (how many times can they recycle those same dozen classic rock songs? My goodness...)
7. It is a shame that acoustic blues is not more popular.
8. I have not listened to Pet Sounds all the way through ... and I have no real interest in doin so.
9. Ryan Adams best work is unreleased.
10. People who think music peaked during the late 1960s have not been paying attention.
