My Top 5 LP's of 2008:
1. Fleet Foxes - self tited
Very good record. Kinda grew on me the more I listened to it. Certainly teh record I played the most this year, so gotta be #1. Download: "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song"
2. The Black Keys - Attack & Release
Powerful update to the heavy blues genre. I love artist who can breathe life into dwindling yet imporant sub-set of RnR. Download: "Strange Times"
3. Sun Kil Moon - April
Sweet and haunting effort. DADGAD riffs a plenty. For those inclined towards the acoustic guitar, this is your top record of the year. Download: "Luck Man"
4. Drive By Truckers - Brigher Than Creations Dark
Great record with lots of alt.country flavor. Very eclectic and entertaining rockin' record. Download: "Self Destructive Zones"
5. Death Cab for Cutie - Narrow Stairs
Pretty good record with one great song and a few good ones. Download: "I Will Posses Your Heart"
