Any notice that amazon.com is now selling MP3 downloads? No hassle, no “iPod only”, no “one computer only”, DRM-free MP3. And inexpensive, to boot (check out the MP3 Daily Deal for entire records for $1.99; I recently picked up Neko Case’s “Fox Confessor” record in this manner).
Personally, I hope this surpasses iTunes for digital music distribution. Inexpensive and hassle-free. That is the way of the future.
